We know what works

For over 17 years, we've built a reputation for excellence in both landscape design and installation in the Chatham-Kent area. Three years ago, we took a big step by separating the design side of our business to create Elements Design Group, allowing us to focus more on serving clients and landscape contractors in Windsor, London, Sarnia, St. Thomas, and beyond. Our team of skilled designers, holding bachelor’s degrees in landscape architecture and armed with decades of hands-on experience, brings a unique blend of creativity and practical expertise to every project. At Elements Design Group, we are passionate about creating personalized, functional outdoor spaces that excite our clients and exceed their expectations. We believe in delivering designs that truly reflect your vision, while also providing the expertise to make it a reality.

Our Philosophy

Understanding your vision

At Elements Design Group, we believe in delivering top-quality service with a personal touch. Our approach starts by truly understanding each client's unique vision and needs, ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted. We specialize in creating personalized designs that are both beautiful and functional, and our team’s combined expertise guarantees that you’ll have multiple design perspectives to bring your project to life. No matter the size or budget, we believe everyone deserves a well-crafted, stunning landscape. As we expand our reach to more residential and commercial clients, our focus remains on customer satisfaction, clear communication, and delivering landscapes that reflect the beauty and functionality you deserve.

Our Process

1.

 Initial Contact

We begin by connecting with you to understand your project needs and vision. The first step in our process is making initial contact, where we gather basic information about your project and the goals you have in mind. This is an opportunity to discuss your needs, timelines, and expectations, allowing us to get a sense of what you're looking for in your outdoor space.

3.

Site Analysis & Measuring

We visit your property to assess the space and take measurements. Next, we perform a thorough site analysis, which includes measuring your property, observing the environment, and identifying key features (like sunlight, drainage, and existing structures). This step ensures we gather the necessary data to create a design that works within the natural surroundings and layout of your space.

5.

Design Development

We refine and revise the design to match your feedback and preferences. Once you approve the conceptual design, we move into design development, where we refine the details of the plan based on your feedback. This may include adjustments to materials, layout, and specific plant selections, ensuring that the design aligns with your vision and functional needs while staying within your budget.

2.

Consultation

We meet with you to dive deeper into your vision and discuss design options. During the consultation, we’ll sit down to get a more in-depth understanding of your specific needs, preferences, and the overall style you're looking for. This is also when we talk about budget, timeline, and any challenges or constraints the site may present. We aim to fully align on your vision before moving forward.

4.

Conceptual Design

We create an initial design concept based on your vision and site analysis. The conceptual design phase is where we take all the gathered information and create an initial design concept for your outdoor space. This includes layout, major features, and plant choices. At this stage, a full payment is required to move forward, as it involves dedicated time and resources to develop ideas tailored to your needs.

6.

Final Design

We deliver a detailed, finalized design ready for installation. The final design phase provides you with a comprehensive, ready-to-implement landscape plan. This includes all the technical details, including materials, plants, dimensions, and any specific installation instructions. It serves as a blueprint for your project and can be used by contractors for accurate execution.
